OrderDraw turns a dealer's shutter order into the factory drawing and cut list. What took a drawing office 30 minutes by hand now takes 4 seconds.

Every made-to-measure shutter order needs a technical drawing before anything is cut. In the factories, a drawing office produced each one by hand in AutoCAD. One drawing took about 30 minutes, and every line on every order needed one.

Each factory works to its own specification: its own frames, stiles, louvres, posts, deductions and tolerances. Bay windows have to be drawn at their true angles. The drawing has to look the way the factory floor already reads it, in Chinese and in English, and it has to be right to a fraction of a millimetre, because the saw cuts what the sheet says.

We built OrderDraw with a working shutter factory. It reads the dealer's order, checks every line against that factory's own specification, and flags errors before anyone opens a drawing. Then it produces the A4 drawing for each line, laid out like the factory's AutoCAD sheet, and a cut list for the order with identical pieces grouped, stock bars and waste worked out, and frames split for sea or air freight.

Each factory has its own login and its own versioned specification. Dealers can upload orders and check the drawing before production, in their own language.
